Artwork Submission Policy
Last updated: November 20, 2025
1. Purpose of Artwork Submission
We request artwork from applicants to help us:
- Understand your current artistic skill level.
- Identify your strengths, style, and areas of improvement.
- Determine the most appropriate starting point and training path for you within our program.
Your artwork does not determine whether you are accepted into the apprenticeship program. It simply helps us ensure you receive the right level of guidance and support once enrolled.
2. What You Submit
Artwork submissions are digital and may include photos or scans of your drawings or sketches, or digital art created on a device. When submitting your work, we recommend:
- Providing clear, well-lit, or well-scanned images.
- Sharing completed artwork rather than rough drafts whenever possible.
- Submitting only original work that you have personally created.
- Including a variety of styles or subjects if available, to better understand your skill range.
3. How We Use Your Artwork
Your submitted artwork will be used only for:
- Skill assessment and training placement.
- Internal reference during your onboarding and progression through the program.
Your submissions will not be published or shared publicly without your explicit permission. If you are later featured in student galleries or success stories, that will only happen with your consent.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
- You retain full ownership of your artwork and all intellectual property rights.
- By submitting artwork, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to view, evaluate, and securely store your artwork for internal program use.
- We will not use your artwork commercially or publicly without your written consent.
5. Confidentiality and Privacy
- Your artwork and personal information are treated as confidential parts of your application file.
- They are only accessible to the admissions and training teams.
- We may store your artwork to help track your progress, training level, and development within the program.
6. Admissions and Feedback
- Artwork submissions do not impact your acceptance into the program.
- All applicants are evaluated based on program criteria, readiness, and alignment—not artistic perfection.
- Once enrolled, we may provide feedback on your work as part of the training process.
7. Request for Deletion of Artwork
Since submissions are digital, you may request that we delete your artwork from our system at any time by contacting us at artsubmissions @ inkdifferenttattoos.com.
- Upon request, we will delete your submission from active and stored records, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate administrative purposes.
- Once deleted, the artwork cannot be restored, and future placement considerations may be limited.
8. Limitation of Liability
We take reasonable measures to keep your artwork secure. However, by submitting digital files, you acknowledge the inherent risks of data transmission, storage, and technical issues. We are not liable for loss, corruption, or unauthorized access beyond our reasonable control.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued submissions after updates constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
