WICKER PARK, CHICAGO, IL (October 24, 2023) – Ink Different Tattoos, a leading name in the tattoo industry that recently partnered with the Red Cross, proudly announces the grand opening of its newest tattoo studio located at 2351 W North Ave, Chicago, IL, 60647. Situated in the vibrant Wicker Park area of Chicago, this strategic expansion marks a significant milestone for Ink Different Tattoos as it continues to transform the art of tattooing into an elevated experience.
Wicker Park, known for its rich blend of artistic vibrancy and cultural diversity, is the ideal Chicago neighborhood for Ink Different Tattoos’ unique approach to being part of the artistic landscape of a city. With its mission to “ensure excellence and equal opportunity in the tattoo industry,” Ink Different’s arrival in this bustling neighborhood exemplifies its dedication to fostering artistic expression, authenticity, and community engagement.
The studio’s collaboration with the Wicker Park Chamber of Commerce underscores its commitment to local partnerships and community development. Through this alliance, Ink Different aims to contribute to the growth of Wicker Park as a hub for artistic innovation and expression.
“We are thrilled to be part of the Wicker Park neighborhood, known for its dynamic arts scene and creative atmosphere,” says Paul-Anthony Surdi, owner of Ink Different Tattoos. “This expansion presents an exciting opportunity for us to connect with the local community as we hire local tattoo artists, offer apprenticeships to aspiring tattoo artists, and provide a platform for self-expression through our art.”
The Wicker Park area, with its blend of historic charm and modern sophistication, offers an array of attractions that complement Ink Different’s vision. Residents and visitors can explore the neighborhood’s eclectic mix of art galleries, indie boutiques, music venues, and diverse dining options. Some of our favorite places around the area are Stan’s Donuts & Coffee, Underdog and Subterranean.
The studio’s strategic location aims to not only offer exceptional Chicago tattooing services but also to become an integral part of the vibrant cultural fabric that defines Wicker Park while supporting people from all walks of life.
Ink Different Tattoos’ signature “Good Human” culture, a concept that underlines its commitment to creating an inclusive, respectful, and client-focused environment, is highlighted by the hiring of local Tattoo Artist and members of the LGBT community, Ezra Berrios.
“Ezra is amazing,” Paul-Anthony exclaims. “We must have interviewed twenty local artists to find Ezra, and we couldn’t be happier.”
Ink Different’s approach to equality and inclusion, coupled with the studio’s experienced artists, art gallery-inspired design, and unwavering dedication to its clients, sets the stage for an unparalleled tattooing experience.
As Ink Different Tattoos embarks on this new chapter in Wicker Park, it invites other Tattoo Artists to apply to join the team, and all local fans of tattoos to come get inked!
